How it works

You must be a member of a PRO (composer royalty collection society) and have a registered CAE or IPI number. All music that you submit, must be licensed to us exclusively with no retitling, so you would need to create some tracks specifically for our library.

IMPORTANT: If and when any of your submissions are accepted, you can not license or put it up anywhere else (including Soundcloud), or any other platform.

  • We will share the publishing and composer royalties (sync performance) on a 50/50 basis. This will be sent via PayPal.
  • We will be getting in touch over email - you will always know what we think and why!

What are Synchronization Royalties?

Synchronization royalties (also called "sync royalties") are payments made to music rights-holders when their music is used in visual media such as films, TV shows, commercials, video games, or online content. They are typically paid as a one-time upfront fee known as a sync license fee.

When your music is placed in a production, whether that is a TV commercial, movie scene, YouTube video, or any other audiovisual work, the creator must obtain a sync license from the rights-holder. This license grants permission to synchronize the music with the visual content. In return, the rights-holder receives a sync royalty payment.
